11:30 → 12:00 Biosensors and their applications in environmental and security monitoring, agrifood analysis, biomedical diagnostic and cultural heritage protection.

An overview of the biosensors designed and realised exploiting different biological recognition elements (e.g. photosynthetic algae, enzymes, biomimetic artificial molecules), transductions systems (e.g. fluorescence, electrochemistry), and supports (screen printed electrodes, paper, gold microelectrodes array).
