The congress venue is Museo Diocesano, via Etnea 8, Catania. The Museum is adjacent to the Catania Cathedral dedicated to Saint Agatha, as part of the buildings that surround Piazza Duomo.
The congress venue can be easily reached from the airport by bus or taxi.
Bus
From the airport, Alibus is directed to the city centre. The “Dusmet” bus stop (1860) is the nearest, less than 5 min walk from the Conference Venue. Tickets (4 euros) can be purchased at airport or directly on the bus. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Buses typically leave every 25 minutes both weekdays and holidays. Several Taxi companies operate inside the airport, applying different rates. The approximate cost of travel by taxi is 18 € with the company Radio Taxi Catania (phone: +39 095.88.33). The journey takes about 15 minutes. We recommend you to call upon your arrival. The taxi rank of Radio Taxi Catania is on the first Floor (at the departures). Other taxis can be found on the ground floor (at the arrivals).
